Connecticut Payroll Taxes

Connecticut requires the following state payroll Tax and withholding forms

Form CT-941 – Connecticut Employer's Quarterly Tax Return

Employers in Connecticut are required to file Form CT-941, the Employer's Quarterly Tax Return. This form must be filed on a quarterly basis to report the total income tax withheld from employees' wages. It is due by the last day of the month following the end of each quarter. Timely submission of this form ensures compliance with state payroll tax laws.

Form CT-W3 – Connecticut Employer’s Annual Reconciliation of Wages and Tax Withheld

Form CT-W3 is used by employers to reconcile the total amount of income tax withheld from employees' wages for the entire year. It must be submitted annually by January 31st to ensure the accurate reporting of all withheld wages and taxes.
